New York's Best![]() 12/31/69
What a find! I have had several great experiences at this restaurant and think it ranks with New York's best. You should definitely check out this sleeper Haute Cuisine French in the New York's West Village called Chez Ma Tante.
Great Food, Outdoor dining (summer), and inexpensive
for the quality. Some of what our party of 12 sampled included: Foie Gras cured in sea salt; Whole Roasted Black Winter Truffle; Bouillabaisse seafood soup; Escargots; Rack of Venison; Seared Wild Duck and leg confit; Steak Au Poivre, Bavette Grilled Marninated Skirt Steak; Boeuf Bourguignon "Cote d'Or"; Skinless Cornish Game Hen. I have sampled some of New York's best and if fine dining at a reasonable price is your goal and you can pass on the "power scene" this place is it. I give it 5 stars out of 5. It is worth your time to give this terrific place a try. |
